Meet Our Designers
From Autism to Entrepreneurship
It always surprises people to learn that Nine Worlds Gear started with designs created by Ayden who has autism. People are even more surprised to discover that he is in middle school. His designs focus heavily on his favorite subjects, such as dragons and other mythological creatures.
Autism and dyslexia often seem like limiting factors, but instead, they fuel the designing process. Ayden sees the tiniest of details in the world around him and has a hyper-detailed imagination. He uses those strengths to create highly detailed designs that result in gorgeous and beautifully unique apparel.
Ayden's parents provide the administrative support for both website development and order processing. His siblings, however, have also stepped into the world of graphic design.
Christian and Christopher, Ayden's brothers, have developed a passion for entrepreneurship as well as graphic design. Christian leans towards Asian art styles and has been drawing for several years. Christopher enjoys designing but enjoys the business side of the company even more.
Ayden's sisters, Emily and Amelia, also are designing some of the patterns you see. Amelia favors space themes, often with imaginative animals and creatures. Emily, leans towards floral patters and bright colors.
From the family home studio in Aubrey, Texas, new designs are created weekly for a broad offering of wearable art that is comfortable, warm and stylish.
